Titles of instrumental tracks used to be very entertaining since Mogwai started tradition to be creative at this point. The trend is either to choose bombastic, ten-word statements like 'From Today We Shall Nomore Look At The Past', or just to be ironic in a brief manner. It works quite nice, though. Well, actually, maybe both these tactics are just too alluring to not fall for them? The Samuel Jackson Five is tricking me double. It takes guts to pick such name for a music project, and it's even more funny to see opening track making a good laugh over the porn paranoia. But who would possibly expect, that song called 'Skinflick Dress Rehearsal' is in fact a very, very good mix of jazz and rock? Not me. The swinging guitar, however, did the trick again, and carried me to the place from which there was no turning point. I listened to the end. And again. And again. And again I claim: it's just sooo catchy!
